Housekeeper needed for The Carlisle | San Francisco, CA
The ideal candidate for this position will have a good eye for detail and a passion for cleaning. Some experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) with co-workers and residents in English. This position requires a strong, fit individual with a positive, upbeat attitude who enjoys interacting with Seniors. We have one Full-time Position and one Part-time Position available.
The Essential Duties for this position include but are not limited to: General housekeeping cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas such as resident units, bathrooms, public areas, common areas, and offices. Sweeps, dusts, dust mops, and wet mops all flooring; spot cleans and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and runners.
Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes lavatory, sink and shower fixtures, kitchen / kitchenette sinks, counters and appliances; dust, washes, sponge mop, sanitize and shampoo furniture; dusts desk, table and floor lamps; cleans and polishes glass surfaces and mirrors, wood work, walls, and windowsills; maintains equipment and supplies needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition; responsible for transporting supplies, including clean and soiled linens to the appropriate storage collection areas; responsible for trash collections and removal and maintaining trash receptacles and collection areas in a clean and sanitary manner; responsible for laundry duties to include collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, inventorying, ironing, and redistributing the laundry.
